Great stuff Rich and Myron. Wow has time passed by way too fast. I think it will be 9 years for me this winter when I started. We are all so lucky to have taken up this great sport that helps keeps us younger at heart.
Rich I just saw your Monday post now. Too bad you chose Grand over St Laurent. Neil Al and I enjoyed one of best steady wind foil days of the year at Sandpiper. Also a heads up for you as John , Dave R and I kited at long Point by Lundar last week. It was great place to kite or foil on a SE or SSE. ...
Yes it was my 8 all afternoon. The waves closer to point were awesome. The most fun on a foil for me is to try to park the kite and ride a wave in. I had a lot of fun just watching your progress yesterday. Each day out there you up the ante and it is paying off for you. Kudos.
Early bird got the wind. I was on the water by 8am at Sandpiper for a 2 hour 8 m foil extravaganza. Dave F also enjoyed two 7 m sessions. Picture is Dave F heading in to his cabin . He is doing real good on his foil.
Not sure Bob but it was both fun and scary to watch! It was a bit of a gong show at times watching the brave 7 who kited in the SE at Laurentia Beach. Thanks again Bob for the mako rescue. 9 m and small mako in the afternoon, 11 in the morning
John met me at Twin Beach and delivered his 135 mako. We both rode 9's. I traded back and forth between foil, 150 and 135 mako depending on the wind. T B is a very good place to foil as it gets deep right away. I will go back in a N to NNE. John got as far as the TB point as he was thinking of going...
Great day at Laurentia beach too. 8"s and 9's all afternoon. When the wind went SW late in the day the waves to the south of our house along the reef were only 2-3 ft but super smooth. It was a very good boosting day.
