You guys are hard core. Water is open again in front of me so it opens the door if I decide to try it after lunch? This morning I kited on the beach. Susan took a few photo's through the window for me. Enjoy boys!

No water for me. I ended up playing squash. I'm going to hit the snow in the Grant Park high school soccer fields. Just south of Pan Am. Might be good.

It was not a long session but I was highly motivated to be a part of the Dec 3rd club. Just like skiing in the morning and golfing in the afternoon. It was that kind of a 8M day. I have no dry suit so I doubled up on my wet suits and kept my session short. I also had some ice here so I used a twin tip. Thanks again you guys for motivating me to get out there and thanks to Susan for taking some pics. Dave

That was SICK and AWESOME. Real tough men session. Droplets of water turning into ice pellets on the fly and spraying you with all might. Built up a thick layer of ice on every part of my body. Lines turned into three icicles. No depower, no safety release, not even a chance of bailing your kite. Luckily Roland landed me safely.
I guess each of us achieved his own personal best today. For me it was latest in the season and the longest water session in sub-zero temperatures. And I am proud of roaming cold Canadian waters with toughest kiters in Manitoba - Roland, Neil, Randy and Barry.

Absolutely love your backyard Dave. I do not think anyone will ever be able to top your score - kite on snow and on water in one day.

Thanks to a great bunch of diehard Kiteboarders for hanging out on the water for my latest ( by one day ) session. I would have bailed if I had to do that alone.

" The December Six "

Super day yesterday & especially great that both Lake Winnipeg and Lake Manitoba kitesurfers were included in this record breaking day of "on the water" -2oC kitesurfing in Manitoba.

Hats off to our wetsuit kiters, Dave Carles on Lake Manitoba, & Randy Gullickson on Lake Winnipeg.
The session was challenging enough in the latest design drysuit, so we appreciate your enthusiasm, knowing it was going to be a chilly ride on the water.

This morning I downloaded a "photoshop type" apps to update our beachside celebration selfie to include Dave Carles on Lake Manitoba. I'm calling the photo " The December Six "

" The December Six "
For me, KiteTracker recorded 1 hour & 53 minutes on the water at Husavik Beach.
http://www.kitetracker.com/gps/tracking?r=neilmack_90

The WOO 2 recorded 42 jumps and my highest for the 2016 water season at 14.9 feet.

Finally, big thanks to everyone who followed & cheered us on, here on Boost forum and on WhatsApp "Kite Manitoba" & WOO app. All comments were most appreciated.

FYI - did a local media release (no CNN) related to yesterday's kiting events in Manitoba - both lakes.

I sent out a few photos by email, and link to Boost for more photos, plus Barry's 30 second video (upon request).

So far had calls from Sun Newspaper, CBC TV (might be radio too) and CTV 6pm News.

The group photo that I asked them to use was the one with Dave Carls added in.

Hopefully good exposure for the sport.

Great job Neil. That was very considerate to include me. Much appreciated. Also great photos from the memorial adventure. The group photo of you guys says it all and puts a smile to my face. Dave
