Hatteras 2019

Post by mark@boost » Sat Dec 29, 2018 7:53 am

Hey people , merry Christmas and happy new year. The first houses have been booked in Hatteras. Looks like a big year this time seems to be less house available and more demand from out of town people. We might have some more professional and hard core riders to learn for (don’t for get #1 master 6 year running   ) . Same rules as always $300 down holds a room dates are the week of 13-27 of April. :club:

I’m driving my truck down for the 2 weeks with lots of extra space for gear. $50 each way for your quiver.

I’m not sure about seats yet but I may have space for up to 3 people. Let me know if you’re interested.

Great. Unfortunately I won’t know the exact plan or if I have space until the end of March. I understand if that’s too short of notice for you and you make alternate arrangements.

I might be a candidate for the drive to Hatteras John. I’m not sure yet what ride I’m booked on...possibly with Dan Gibson but I’m in Costa Rica till the end of February. Keep me in mind as a driver with you. There might also be another guy who might want to come with you but I have no real idea at this time as he’s headed down to Hawaii for now. Will be glad to hear more details from you .

Hi All, I am in for the full 2 weeks this year... 50th B-Day present to me
I am flying into Raleigh NC on April 10 for a conference then driving out to Hatteras on April 13th
Flying out of Raleigh on the 28th.

Contact me If you are also flying into Raleigh on the 13/28 and want to split the car rental for the drive to Hat and Back... PS I was not able to get decent aeroplan flights to Norfolk this year... plus the conference got to to Raleigh... (4 hour drive or so to Hat)

Hey John D;

How are your plans for Hatteras? I haven’t heard back from you about your driving to Hatteras . You can reply back on this forum if you like and let me know your thoughts.
I am available to be a co-pilot if you are still planning on driving.

Had Anyone got a deal on air better than $554 to get to Norfolk next month. Let me know if there’s any deals on any airline.

Here is an update with my plan as people have been asking:

Duncan, Chris, and I will leave Winnipeg in my truck with the Boost convoy to Hatteras. We will also be bringing Dave and Gary’s gear with us.

On Sunday, April 14 I will be driving from the house in Hatteras to the airport in Raleigh to pick up my wife Dominique, my son Nash, and Gary at 17:30. I have space for 1 extra person if someone needs a ride to the house.

On April 22 Nash turns 1 so everyone bring a gift! :P

On Sunday, April 28 Duncan, Chris, Dominique, Nash, and I will leave the house around 5:30 heading back to Winnipeg. We will drop Dominique and Nash off at the airport in Raleigh for 9:30 on our way through. Gary will catch a ride back to the Raleigh airport with Dave who I believe has a couple spots open.

Sorry for the novel... The most important take home is Nash’s 1st birthday bash on April 22!

See y’all in Hatteras!!!
